AGENT DISCOVERY

Built to be found by agents.

Machine-readable discovery files that let autonomous agents find SELAT, read its capabilities, and pay per call without a human in the loop. Discovery is free and needs no account; paying stays local and starts only after the user approves.

A2A Agent Card
/.well-known/agent-card.json

Agent-to-agent (A2A) discovery card. Declares SELAT's skills — capability search, service inspection, live price quotes, payment recipes, pay-per-call execution, and every vetted multi-step skill — with tags, examples, and how payment is authorized.

AI Plugin Manifest
/.well-known/ai-plugin.json

Plugin manifest with a model-facing description of when to use SELAT, how discovery works, and a link to the OpenAPI spec. No auth: discovery is free and never spends.

MCP Discovery Manifest
/.well-known/mcp.json

Model Context Protocol manifest for the hosted discovery server at catalog.selat.ai/mcp: Streamable HTTP transport, no auth, and four free tools — selat_search, selat_get_service, selat_quote, selat_how_to_pay.

OpenAPI 3.1 Specification
/openapi.yaml

Machine-readable spec for the free catalog API: health, and the full federated x402 + MPP catalog with every service, endpoint, input schema, price, and accepted rail.

llms.txt
/llms.txt

A concise map of SELAT for language models: what it is, the safe operating default, catalog access, and per-harness plugin installs.

llms-full.txt
/llms-full.txt

Full product context in one file: custody model, spending caps, rails, the Transactability Index, CLI reference, and every published tutorial and insight.

Federated catalog
catalog.selat.ai/api/v1/federated

The full catalog as one gzip + base64 envelope: about 3,000 services and 30,000 paid endpoints across x402 and MPP, each with input schema, USD price, and accepted rails. Cache it locally and refresh on generatedAt.

How an agent uses SELAT

01 · Discover — Fetch the agent card or MCP manifest, then search the catalog by intent. Free, with no wallet or account.

02 · Quote — Inspect the endpoint's schema and its live HTTP 402 price before any spend. selat run "<intent>" --dry-run shows the exact quote.

03 · Pay — After the user approves the quote, selat run settles on whichever rail the provider accepts — x402 or MPP — from the user's own agent wallet, inside an armed session budget. SELAT never holds keys or funds.

Examples

# Read the agent card
curl -s https://selat.ai/.well-known/agent-card.json | jq '.skills[].id'

# Pull and decode the full federated catalog (free)
curl -s https://catalog.selat.ai/api/v1/federated \
  | jq -r .data | base64 -d | gunzip | jq '.services | length'

# Free ranked search, then a priced dry run — no spend
selat search "web search with citations"
selat run "web search with citations" --dry-run
import base64, gzip, json, urllib.request

env = json.load(urllib.request.urlopen("https://catalog.selat.ai/api/v1/federated"))
catalog = json.loads(gzip.decompress(base64.b64decode(env["data"])))
